HAVERION
LOCATION: PiLBARA, WA
DURATION: 8 MONTHS
Re:Group was engaged as one of the first major contractors at the developing Havieron site to construct three evaporation ponds supporting the
underground development. Re:Group set the early benchmark for site safety and quality by implementing key operational systems aligned with
Greatland’s requirements.
As the project progressed, Re:Group was required to double both the scope and pace of delivery due to underground water issues, triggering the need for
double-shift operations and increased labour and plant. Re:Group sourced the majority of these resources internally, ensuring continuity and control.
All works were completed ahead of schedule and within budget. Several additional scopes were also delivered to support ongoing mine development.
Re:Group successfully coordinated significant subcontracted work fronts, managing overlapping areas and multiple stakeholders to ensure seamless
project execution.
THE SOLUTION
- Construction of three evaporation ponds
- Doubling of scope and shift coverage due to underground water issues
- Management of subcontractors and multiple work areas
- Additional supporting scopes delivered during project
